The Pros and Cons of Autoblogging

W hat is Autoblogging?

Good questions. I’ve done some experimentation with autoblogging. In fact, I used it to quickly create this blog.

I was able to find lots of articles with topics about Free Resources for Internet Marketing, and after making a few test runs with RSS Feed selection, I came up with a set of 36 articles that LOOKED OK – on the surface. I pressed the process button, and presto-chango, I had a fully populated blog that at least looked that way.

But content scraping (that’s what auto blogging really is) has it’s downsides.

First of all,
to create this blog I wanted lots of content, instantly, so autoblogging allowed me to grab a bunch of articles/feeds and even videos with specific keywords. The plugin I used, didn’t post duplicate titles, or anything else that I requested it to filter out.

Once I decided on the feeds I wanted – it only took seconds to populate the blog.

Here’s what the RSS Feed Screen looked like

Pros – Instant Content, Fast SEO, Lazy Method for Blogging, Proven Income Model, Flexible

Cons – Scraping Content may violate copyright, No respect, Not sticky (users can tell it’s just autoblogged content)
