But while your friend may have fallen for this, you don’t have to. If you do install it, you’ll be sending out a similar message to all of your friends and that’s how this Fake Dislike button is spreading so fast.

If you’ve already installed this application, don’t panic. Just go and disable the unwanted application. The way to do that is to go to your “account” button in your Facebook home screen and check the option for “application settings.” Then find the offending application and disable it. While you’re in there, look around any other potential offending applications that you might have opted into from some sort of ‘trickery’ or that you don’t really remember getting or understand the applications purpose.

Then run a virus scan on your computer. Just to be safe.

According to the New York Times, Hulu executives are considering a possilbe IPO for sometime this fall. The offering of shares would reportedly value the company around $2 billion.

So far, Hulu has trippled it’s user base in the 3 years of it’s existence, but this is based on Free Downloads. The company is gambling on the Premium Service which will cost $9.99 to increase revenue. But there is no guarantee that this strategy will work. Another issue is that Hulu has not penetrated too many markets outside the US. In the United Kingdom, for example, they’ve made no in -roads at all, due to competition.

Investors will certainly want to research this company carefully before signing up for the expected IPO. The online service is co-owned by NBC Universal, Walt Disney Co.’s (DIS, Fortune 500) ABC, News Corp.’s (Fortune 500, NWS) Fox Entertainment, General Electric and of course, a private equity firm.

Why do we need a Pokewalker primer?

The Pokewalker is showing up everywhere, and proliferating like wild-fire into the hands of our older kids and teenages, since it came out in March of 2010 as part of two NintendoDS games. Perhaps you’ve seen one of these smallish red and white stop watch like devices in the hands of your kids, or inside the pockets of an already washed pair of jeans. In any case – trying to understand the purpose of a Pokewalker if your older than 30 could be a daunting task, so this primer is written to help you know what this little device is all about and especially to help you decide whether or not to get one for your kid on the off chance he doesn’t already have one.

What is a Pokewalker?

The Pokewalker is really nothing more an accessory that shipped with two NintendoDS games which shipped back in March of this year with the two newest games of the tremendously successful Pokemon series and are called SoulSilver and HeartGold respectively. The Pokewalker is also available separately (if one did end up in the wash) but really doesn’t have a function unless you also have a NintendoDS player (any DS) and one of the two games already mention.

The Pokewalker itself looks like a small flattened Pokeball, which if you are familiar with the Pokemon story line was a red and white ball that a Pokemon trainer kept his captured Pokemon in and ‘carried around in the pocket.’ The Pokewalker device is about and inch and a half in diameter, also is red and white, but features three small buttons and a small LCD screen.

How Does the Pokewalker Work?

Acting as a pedometer or ‘motion detector’ as the player (your child) carries the device around on his or her person, while they presumable move or walk, ‘watts’ are earned after a certain amount of motion is detected. The more your child moves, the quicker they earn these watts, then eventually they start earning ‘items’ and finally they start to catch some Pokemon. Since the whole purpose of any Pokemon related game is to catch Pokemon, kids will often shout outloud when they’ve caught something, or earned an item and these rewards for movement can create exciting moments for the kids watching each other play on their own separate Pokewalkers.

Where does the NinendoDS come in to play?

The game itself is not played on the Pokewalker alone, but is actually played inside the NintendoDS with either HeartGold or SilverSoul. To begin playing the game on the NintendoDS the player first has to go out and earn some things. These things are earned by using the Pokewalker and occur during movement. TOnce the player has earned enough watts, items and the maximum three Pokemon, he needs to download those items onto the NintendoDS to move forward in the game. Downloading is a simple process, whereby the NinentoDS game asks to connect to the Pokewalker, the player says yes, and then puts the two items next to each other to commence a wireless download. After the players get as far as he can in the game with the downloaded items and Pokemon, then they need to take the Pokewalker back out again – presumably for more exercise – to earn more watts, items and Pokemon in order to keep playing and eventually win the game.

Is the Pokewalker a Nintendo Plot to give The Wii Fit System a Run For it’s Money?

While it’s certainly unlikely that the NintendoDS Pokemon games and Pokewalker combo will shut down the Wii Fit empire anytime soon, it’s certainly encouraging to see another manufacturer take heed to the growing childhood obesity epedemic and create some products that encourage activity in our children.

What about Cheats?

As with any game, there are numerous ways to ‘cheat’ and quickly win the HeartGold or SilverSoul games without taking a single step, or even without using the Pokewalker. If you go to the author’s link below where this article was originally published, you can see some humorous examples of ways to cheat the Pokewalker. And even though some teens and older kids will cheat just to show they can, most will get too much out of playing the game the right way – because it’s fun – and it’s something they can do with their friends. When older kids and teens are together – earning watts, items and Pokemon simply by moving around with a Pokewalker in their pocket (and thus getting exercise) and then they get instant gratification when they are rewarded for their movement efforts and can excitedly announce- ‘Dude, I just earned a _____ (fill in a Pokemon here!’) In addition to the simple single player mode, there is also apparently a way for kids to hook up their Pokewalkers into teams (something way over my head that I won’t even attempt to understand) which once again acts as a counter-point to the usual pattern brought on by the gaming world of encouring our children to sit-in-front-of-gaming-device-for-endless-hours-talking-to-friends-on-headsets-and-complaining-of-early-signs-carpal-tunnel-syndrome. Maybe the future is brighter and healthier for our kids – thanks to simple gamer changing strategies like the NintendoDS Pokewalker.

Should I Buy the Pokewalker Games for My Child?

If your child doesn’t already have a NintendoDS or one of the two Pokewalker games (HeartGold/SilverSoul) games that shipped back in March with the Pokewalker device inside, then you should definitely consider buying your old enough child or teen one of these fun and relatively cheap Pokewalker based games. This is not for the extremely young – as the Pokewalker is certainly small enough to choke on. But if your kid is past that stage and has already shown a commitment to using all his spare moments playing online games, then you are probably safe to buy this. Just be sure to watch out for curious younger siblings.

Just be sure to watch out for curious younger siblings.

This little item is going to be something guys would buy for themselves if they knew about it – so why not surprise them and get them the coolest little highly practical and useful pocket radar gun now before they sell out. Watch the video.

As far and a reviews – except for a few stinkers, who couldn’t use their imagination long enough to find any value in this highly accurate and extremely useful Pocket Radar gun, 9 out of 10 reviewers rated this little baby 5 stars! And the things they thought of to use it for was highly entertaining reading. Watch the video for a full suggestion list – and then go order one while Amazon is offering $50 Off the list price – but more importantly before everyone buys it and you have to wait for the chip manufacturer in Taiwan to resend the new batch to produce model quantities they never expected to need before Christmas.

Clock you daughter’s Fast Pitch, time the pace of an oncoming surfer, take it to the Tennis Court or the soccer pitch, or the lacrosse field. See if that one idiot neighbor is really driving 50 miles per hour on your 35mph street. Read the reviews on the Amazon page for more brilliant uses. But one thing is for sure, no one is complaining about the accuracy.

This product is fresh and brand new, but based on immediate response, we see this as a classic item that will become too popular and not be available if you wait until the first production run is sold out. And that could be soon – so, watch the video, read the reviews and order one of these. A guy or sports nut in your life will thank you.

At first I didn’t want to buy into this product. After all – it’s just the biggest JV launch in history – and that sort of thing usually makes me jealous because I wasn’t given a preview. But – the good news is that the products only been out (on ClickBank) a few days – so, there’s still time to GET ON BOARD if you want. The reviews based on the sales page only were mixed on the WF – another sales page with the same old screen shots (which could be faked), pictures of guys near fancy cars, and other hallmarks of the typical Clickbank sales page.

But,when I checked out more feedback from people who weren’t early JV partners and who bought into the program and had already been seeing results, and when I saw this guy show how he got followers immediately after funding his ad account (yes there are expenses involved, it’s mobile advertising, not building mobile websites) that I got excited.

But this guys expenses for the mobile ads which got him immediate leads cost pretty low, I think he spent $100 for 800 leads or so. That’s about .80 a lead and if the leads are routed to high profit ventures (no need to discuss what those are, but if you’re an internet marketer or even a business man/woman you’ll know what I mean.) In any case I’m going to give it a try.

The basic concept is well explained (get past the hype and cheezy marketing) when you click the link below. I think it’s got great $$$$ potential, because like it or not, mobile marketing is the future – - especially for early adopters.

See you on the other side.

Many naysayers of the current product recommended the original product from Tony called the Power 90 Complete Body Workout, which is a lot easier starting point (and cost less too.)

For example, my friend from the Master Video Marketing Group created this practical yet very funny video about how to write a profile for dating online. It’s from a male perspective, but the tips would probably work both ways.

You Can Practice Your Profile Writing Tips Here With This Dating Site’s Free Signup Period

Whether you want to learn how to train a dog, how to properly carve a chicken, or how to prune a rose – just go to YouTube and do a search. Trust me – there’s a video on almost every topic. Amazing!

Is Justin Bieber behind the current anti Twilight backlash?
By Gwendolyn Snark
“Thank heaven for little girls, cause little girls get bigger everyday” – That French Guy, Maurice Chevalier, sang this song, but it’s unlikely Beiber will be singing this tune as the years launch him closer into early adult hood.

Thank Heaven For Little Girls (Gigi Soundtrack Version)

In fact, his already rapid movement from pre-teen to young man is putting a damper on his accompanying fan base. No, it’s not good that all those crazed Justin fans are aging every so rapidly every day as well. Nor is it good news for the decreasingly less talented Justin Bieber as his built in ‘Baby Baby’ market drops the barbies and starts researching all things supernatural.

These girls may still enjoy singing the wildly popular songs – but they must be getting tired of the consistently uninspired performances seen more and more frequently by the half-ling Justin, on stages more designed for some ‘uber’ party featuring other stars and celebrities or some mega event, and less oriented towards Justin himself.

How much longer will these star struck little girls be buying Tiger Beat and downloading the latest Justin Beiber ring-tones from this increasingly harder to identify with over-self-hyped child gone adult pop singer?

And will the interest of these current crazed Justin Bieber fans, have much life yet? Will the little sisters continue to identify with Justin as he gets older and older? Or will both the current Bieber fanatics and their little sisters grow up towards the more pressing and real physical changes moving towards them, as they catch a glimpse of both their own cycles as well as the cycles affecting both young woman and werewolf alike? Will they turn the page in their teeny bob mag and suddenly decide to join Team A or Team Will the more dangerous and exciting landscape offered by the heart throbs from Twilight-land, move these young ladies and the little sisters who look up to them forever out of their innocent child pop star fantasies and onto the more seductive and evolving world – where a common bond of blood and cycles – create new interests into a world of real fantasy, fueled by real physical changes, a common bond of blood, both real and in fantasy, and a deep connection with the cycles of the moon, and their own fears of discovery of who they will ultimately become, which varies not much from the vampires own misgivings in the light of day.

And once hooked on these characters, whether by print or Kindle or the magic of the Silver Screen – these young former Bieber addicts will no doubt abandon their Barbie Doll ways, finding no more satisfaction in those silly downward lunging moves of the lip-syncing Bieber on his tour of the day.

And this, we believe, may be why we speculate that the recent insidious campaign to discredit the Twilight Saga, through such websites as http://www.twighlightsucks.com, may actually be a plot organized by the Justin Bieber himself. After all, his prowess as a self-promoter and mega social media meister is legendary. Why not a little guerrilla marketing to slow down the loss of his bread and butter fans. Sure, there’s bound to be a few jocks, or other people who want to be anti-twilight who could be behind this too, but this author can’t help imaging a conspiracy behind the movement. Could Justin be behind the real push to slay the popularity of Twilight Eclipse and Twilight in general? Who knows – we just ask the question. What do you think.

If this pure conjecture is in anyway true, for we have no proof that thus current campaign to slam Twilight is really run by the puppet master of pop himself – but if we are right we beseech you to “Give it up Justin.” Not only have you milked your fame for all its worth ….and then some, your sweet voice and over produced pop music doesn’t hold a candle to the maturity and magic that is the Twilight saga.

Instead, we suggest you focus on starting on creating your own music company and become the manager of the next big pre-teen wonder boy. Don’t wait until the only gig you can get singing Baby Baby is at a Baby Shower or a second rate Dinner Theater.

Everyone knows Justin Bieber is the great self promoter. Maybe you should focus on lobbying for a stamp with your picture, or getting a coin from the US mint. Better yet – parlay your magic and find a mini-you and become a producer of the next great young pop star. The formula seems to have infinite power, even if the individual stars flames are fleeting. You’re not washed up, so long as you grow up and move on. Good luck Justin – but if you are the money man behind the Stop the Twilight Saga mania . . . bite me and millions of others.

Gwendolyn Snark writes for various blogs, including The Zizish Guide, and may be caught tweeting at Twilight Finds.
